Dr. Digambar Panchal is a highly skilled Hematologist, Stem Cell Transplant Physician, and CAR T Cell Therapy Specialist associated with Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of benign and malignant blood disorders, with particular expertise in lymphoma, leukemia, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). His clinical practice spans both adult and pediatric patients, providing comprehensive care across age groups.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Panchal has contributed to more than 150 successful stem cell transplants, including both autologous and allogeneic procedures. His extensive experience in transplant medicine reflects his commitment to providing advanced treatment for patients with complex hematological conditions.
Dr. Panchal has a special interest in CAR T cell therapy, an advanced form of cellular therapy used in the treatment of selected blood cancers. To strengthen his expertise in this innovative treatment modality, he completed an observership at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. This experience has further enhanced his understanding of emerging cellular therapies and their role in modern hemato-oncology.

- Assisted in the execution of the first CAR-T cell therapy and the first T cell depleted transplant at Sahyadri Hospitals, Pune.
- Actively participated in Pune Hematology Group meetings and presentations.
- Managed COVID-19 patients (2020-2021) at LTMGH Sion and Seven Hills Hospital.
- Co-investigator in the clinical trial "DARE-19" at LTMGH, Mumbai: Dapagiflozin in patients with cardiometabolic risk factors hospitalized with COVID-19.
- Authored a clinical review article on "nitial evaluation of hypertensive patients" for Clinical Key (Elsevier) in collaboration with Dr. ND Karnik (2022).
